How to Use

Peptide Amount: total mg or mcg in the lyophilised vial (e.g. 5 mg).

Diluent (BAC Water): volume of bacteriostatic water added to the vial for reconstitution (e.g. 2 mL).

Target Amount: target amount per aliquot in mcg or mg.

Frequency: optional. Sampling frequency, used to estimate vial duration.

Calculate: returns aliquot volume, concentration and total aliquots.

Laboratory Handling Notes

Reconstituted peptides are stored at 2–8°C. Stable for 28–30 days under refrigeration. Lyophilised peptides may be stored at −20°C for long-term storage.

A calibrated micropipette or precision syringe is standard for accurate small-volume measurement when preparing aliquots.

Bacteriostatic water is standard for reconstitution. Sterile water lacks the benzyl alcohol preservative required to keep peptides stable after reconstitution.

Swirl gently, do not shake, after adding diluent. Shaking can denature peptide bonds and reduce compound integrity.

Diluent is best added along the vial wall, running slowly down the side rather than directly onto the powder.
